Appointment reminders

Appointment letters arrive months ahead, get filed somewhere sensible, and then vanish from memory. EntryNest keeps the date, the time, the address, the reference number and any preparation notes together, and emails you early enough to arrange the day off, the childcare or the travel.

Every kind of appointment, one place

EntryNest handles medical, court, immigration, government, school, professional and personal appointments. They look different from the outside, but each one needs the same handful of things remembered: when, where, what to bring, and how long before you should start preparing.

  • Medical — GP, specialist, dental, scans, follow-ups and vaccinations
  • Court — hearings, mediation and filing deadlines
  • Immigration — biometrics, document submission and consular slots
  • Government — tax offices, licensing, registration and benefits
  • School — enrolment, parent meetings and assessments
  • Professional — accountant, solicitor, adviser and inspection visits
  • Personal — anything with a time, a place and a consequence

What you can record

Type, title, date and time, location and optional full address, notes, a reference or booking number and a contact. Everything except the title and date is optional, so a rushed entry from a phone still works.

Reminders can be set at 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before, plus the day itself, and you can add a custom interval when a particular appointment needs more preparation.

Recurring and rolling appointments

Some appointments repeat: quarterly check-ups, monthly reviews, annual inspections. Set a weekly, monthly, yearly or custom cycle and the next occurrence rolls forward automatically once the date passes, so the series never quietly ends.

On your dashboard, in your timezone

Upcoming appointments sit at the top of the dashboard with the title, type, date, time, location and a plain-language countdown, marked as upcoming, overdue or completed. Times are handled in your own timezone, so a trip abroad doesn't shift your reminders.

Add to Calendar exports a standard .ics file, so the same appointment can sit in the calendar you already use while EntryNest handles the advance warning.

Private by design

You never have to record why you are attending. Notes and reference numbers are optional, appointments are readable only by your own account under database-level access rules, and nothing is exposed publicly or included in a reminder email beyond what you need to identify it.

EntryNest is a reminder tool. It does not offer medical, legal or immigration advice, and it never contacts an office or a provider on your behalf.

FAQ

How early should a reminder be?
Match it to the preparation, not the appointment. A dental check needs a day or two; a court date or a consular slot often needs thirty days to gather documents and arrange time away.
Can I get reminders for someone else's appointment?
On a family plan you can share an appointment with a household member so both of you are reminded, while private items stay private.
Does EntryNest book or cancel appointments?
No. It only remembers them and reminds you. Booking, rescheduling and cancelling always happen directly with the office concerned.
